Northwest Web Cams
has perhaps the simplest privacy policy on the web. Put quite simply,
we don't collect ANY personal data about our vistiors at all, period!
And we don't want it, either!!
Cookies
Northwest Web Cams does not set any cookies or other software on our visitors
machines.
Pop-Up Ads
Northwest Web Cams does NOT use pop-up ads on our site. If you are seeing pop-up
ads while surfing Northwest Web Cams, this is arising because your computer
is infected with one or more "scumware" or, more politely, "adware" programs.
These are software programs that you have installed on YOUR computer that
trigger pop-up ads based on the content of the page you are viewing. To
get rid of these scumware programs, visit Lavasoft and
download their free software which will get rid of the vast majority of
these scumware/spyware/adware programs.
Email Addresses
Northwest Web Cams does not collect any email addresses. Any email we receive
from our visitors is not sold, lost or otherwise "misplaced".
Thus, by contacting Northwest Web Cams the email address you use will NOT
be placed on some sort of spam-list. Quite truthfully, we delete virtually
all emails we receive within a matter of days (I don't want emails filling
up my email bin!).
Information
Collected
So, what information do we collect. Nothing fancy, really. The only information
we collect is non-personally identifiable information about how many people
visited our site daily, using what seach engines, and referred from what site.
In plain English,
what this means is that our on-line statistics program can tell us
how many visitors per day visited our site, what search terms they
used in the Search Engines to find us and how many pages they viewed
once they did find us. None of this information is personally identifiable
in any way.
